Biography

With an English Springer Spaniel at her side, Sandy began her dog show hobby in grade school when she was introduced to obedience training through 4-H. Since then, she has been active in numerous dog clubs by holding various board offices and trial chairs, including past president of the Papillon Club of America. She trains and titles her dogs in U.S. and Canada competing in conformation, obedience, rally, and agility. She met Papillons through a fellow club member of the Great Falls (Montana) Dog Training Club, where she was a founding member at the age of 16.

In 1976, Sandy acquired a Papillon because a small breed better fit her lifestyle. Since her first litter in 1999, her dogs have won multiple Best in Specialty Shows, Papillon Club of America and Papillon Canada national specialties, high-in-trials, OTCHs, and MACHs, as well as breed championships in America, Canada, and Australia.

Sandy is an Honorary Lifetime Member of the Papillon Club of America and currently serves as Vice President. She judged a Top 20 competition at a PCA National Specialty.
