| I was born in Kansas City, Missouri. I gradated from Southern Methodist University a degree in political science. Although I had ambitions to go into politics my life took a turn in a different directions. I became interested in breeding and exhibiting pure bred dogs. During the summer breaks from college I went to work for the great terrier handler, Ric Chashoudian. Upon graduation, I continued to work for Ric for 7 years. I started my own handling business professionally and continued for the next 40 years. During that time, I bred wire fox terriers as well as Cavalier King Charles spaniels. I bred over 50 champions in each of these breeds under the Crizwood prefix. While showing, I handled many best in show winners. One such dogs, was he top winning welsh terrier of all time with 100 best in shows! One of only 12 dogs to have amassed such a record. Along with my daughter, Jenny, we have handled the top winning welsh terrier of all time, top winning Airedale of all time, top winning French Bulldog of all time, and one the top winning beagles of all time. Over the course of my career, I have had the honor to handle best in show winners in 5 groups and winners in all 7 groups. After a long and dedicated career, I retired from handling and enjoy the judging of dogs. It is my continuing passion to travel the world and judge dogs with enthusiasm. |
