| In 1981, we have acquired our first Shih Tzu and in 1983, me and my husband established Sunnyside Kennel. We have been involved in breeding, showing and handling Shih Tzus with great success. Among them are: Owner/handled the first Phil Grand Champion Shih Tzu in the country, Phil. Grand champion Ben (imp. Japan); Owner /handled the 1986,’87.’ 88 and ’89 Top Shih Tzu and No. 2 Top Dog in 1987.’88 Multi BIS Phil Grand/Am Champion Louwan gunning Tootsie Pop; Owner/Handled the 1995 PCCI Top Dog Multi BIS Phil Grand/Can Champion Symarun Ultimate Fantasy “Rylee”; Breeder of the No. 1 Shih Tzu in Indonesia in 2000 BIS Phil grand/ Ind Champion Sunnyside change in Time; Breeder of the No. 1 Shih Tzu in Russia Multi BIS International/Russian champion Sunnyside Wild Moment “Mork.”. We have also produced several champions and grand champions both here and overseas. Handled the Top Chow chow in the Phil, Am/Br/Ind/Phil HOF Ayran Hung Red Tiger. I have been handling/showing dogs overseas since 1990. Among the places I have handled are Thailand, Hongkong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Canada and USA (at the American Shih Tzu Club National Specialty in Minnesota). I am the only Filipina who have handled and won at the Canadian Nationals in 1993. Aside from Shih Tzus, our kennel has been involved in showing and breeding other breeds among them German Shepherds, Dobermanns, Rottweillers, Pekingese, Dachshunds, Golden Retrievers, Maltese, Chow Chows, Yorkshire Terriers and Belgian Malanois. I have served as a PCCI Director and have chaired the Rules and regulations committee and Membership Committee. I am the past President of the Cavite Canine Club, Past Officer of the Phil Toy Dog Club and The Ladies Kennel Club. I am a licensed PCCI /FCI ring steward since 1995. I got my first license for the Shih Tzu breed in year 2000. I am a PCCI /FCI/AKU International All Breeds judge. I can judge All breeds at championship level. I can award CACIB and challenge certificates to all breeds/ groups. I can judge General Specials. I have judged in Australia, Canada, Japan, Thailand, Russia, Indonesia, South Africa, Malaysia, Singapore, New Zealand, China, India, Taiwan, Ireland and Sri Lanka. I have judged all over the Philippines and some of parts of Asia, judged the Toy Dog Specialty club in Thailand, Golden Retriever Club Specialty, and Labrador Club Specialty, judged All breeds for the Spitz and Primitive Club of Thailand. Judged the General Specials at the Pedigree Winter Carnival show in Brisbane, Australia, All breeds and General Specials in Guwahati, India and the All breeds and General Specials at the Dobermann Club of Indonesia. I have judged the Oriental Breeds Society of Western Australia and The West Australian Kennel Club Winter Festival in Perth, Australia in 2009. Judged ALL Breeds Dog Club of South Australia in Adelaide and Canberra in November, 2011, Kennel Club of Taiwan Nov, 2011, New Zealand and New South Wales in Australia in April, 2012, Malaysia FCI show in March 2012 , South Africa in June, 2012, Sydney and Adelaide July 2012, JKC winter dog Festival Japan, Dec. 2012. China Kennel Union March, 2013, Japan May, 2013, Alberta, Canada May 2013, India Dec, 2013.Judged in South Shore Kennel Club Nova Scotia, Canada in June, 2014 and Kilbride and District Kennel Club (Ontario)and Manitoba Canine Association in Canada August, 2014. Judged several times for China Kennel Union in 2015,'16 and '17. Judged in Sri Lanka FCI show in March 2017.judged in Ireland in August 2017. |
