Biography
|
| Ernesto Lara has been a dog handler for more than 25 years, initially exhibiting in his native Mexico. Born in Mexico, he started in dogs in the mid 70's with Airedale Terriers. His first dog was named Bengal, by the earlier 80's he started showing and before the 90's he won top dog all breeds twice, once with a Bouvier des Flandres and a Scottish Terrier. In 1994 he moved to the States to work for Mr. Peter Green where he worked for 12 years. After that as a professional handler he has won lots of BIS with numerous breeds and placed in Montgomery Kennel Club multiple times. In 2010 he won BIS at the Purina National in Toronto, Canada with a Kerry Blue Terrier and in 2013 he won BIS at Westminster with the Affenpinscher "Banana Joe" making him the top Affenpinscher of all time with over 80 BIS in America. Ernesto has judged in Mexico, US, Canada and Argentina. |
