Junior Handling
Saturday, August 16th.
RV Parking & Day Tenting/Parking
No reservations. Parking is first-come, first-served. Exhibitors who wish to camp together must come in together. Hookups are not available. Fee is $50./weekend or $20./day. There is a $10. damage deposit that will be returned to exhibitors leaving their campsite in the same condition as when they arrived.
Day tents $5/day. Day Parking $5/day.
Scent Hurdling
Saturday, August 15th after Best in Show. Entry fee: $5 (make chaques payable to West Kootenay Kennel Club). Clsoing date: July 30th. Mail entries to Avril Tatterson, 53, 203 Lynnview Road SE, Calgary, AB T2C 2C6 or email avril.tatterson@shaw.ca.
Rent-A-Ring
Rent a Ring is available on Friday only for those trialling, with a $5. donation to the club for a 20 minute session. Some jumps and equipment will be on site with club members available to assist. Please book at the club table.
Information Session - New Obedience & Rally Classes
Friday at 7:00 pm. Mrs Marion Postgate (CKC Obedience Council representative) will be available at the rings for a discussion regarding the new (January 2015) classes offered at trials for both Obedience and Rally Obedience.
Entry Discount
$100. Show/Trial Discount Special. Enter all 4 shows or all 4 trials (either Rally or Obedience) with same dog on 1 electronic regular entry and receive the Special discount!!
Bred By Exhibitor & Owner Handled Competitions
Bred By Exhibitor Competition on Saturday, August 15th. Exhibitors must declare their dog eligible for Bred By Exhibitor Competition at the time of entry using the check box on the entry form.
Owner-Handled Competition on Sunday, August 16th. Exhibitors must declare their dog Owner Handled Competition eligible at the time of entry using the check box on the entry form. Professional handlers, household members and current assistants to professional handlers may not exhibit. Professional handlers are defined as any person who belongs or has belonged to a professional handlers’ organization, distributed rate cards, or otherwise advertised or represented themselves as handling dogs for pay or received payment for handling a dog.
